Practical work in the places it matters.
We run programmes across rural entrepreneurship, girls' education, and urban biodiversity, with measurable five-year goals and a small, accountable team.

Three programmes, one principle: useful work, done well.
Each initiative carries the same conviction that animated Alka Bhatnagar's life of giving: care for the underserved is hands-on, local, and persistent.

Specific targets across the three pillars. Progress is reported on each programme page.
Continuing her work, on a wider canvas.
Alka Bhatnagar (1958–2019) gave generously and locally. She fed animals, organised meals at orphanages and old-age homes, supported girls in nearby schools, and helped where help was needed in front of her. The Foundation carries that work forward.
What used to be a single act of generosity is now scholarships disbursed across cohorts. The hands-on care she offered families one at a time is now apprenticeship programmes that train new entrepreneurs. Her attention to the small and overlooked is now a thousand sparrow nests installed in city homes that have stopped hearing them.
Same work. Different scale.
